Martina Pártlová gave up her villa in Bali. She transformed a dilapidated farmhouse into a luxury cottage.

Singer Martina Pártlová, who celebrated her 46th birthday on May 28, owns several properties. In addition to a beautiful house near Prague, she also has a cottage in the countryside, which she had completely renovated. Until recently, she had been planning to buy a home abroad, specifically in Bali. However, those plans ultimately fell through.

Plans to build a villa in the exotic paradise of Bali, complete with two pools and an ocean view, ultimately fell through. Martina Pártlová stated on social media that she had withdrawn from the project, though she did not disclose the reasons. She and her partner, musician Josef Vařeka, along with their four-year-old daughter Stella, will reportedly continue to visit Bali, but only to a house they will be renting.

She transformed an old ruin into a luxury home

Martina Pártlová has fulfilled another dream. She bought a dilapidated farmhouse in Bohemia, which she transformed into a beautiful home over the course of two years of extensive renovation. “I’ve always wanted to buy an old ruin and transform it into something that reflects my own vision. The main reason I bought the property was that I wanted to gather the whole family there someday—for Christmas or other special occasions,”the daily newspaper Blesk quoted her as saying. She reportedly had to take out a mortgage that she will likely be paying off for the rest of her life.

With the help of professionals, she furnished the cottage with stylish furniture. However, she tried to preserve its original character. The bathroom features a claw-foot tub, metal faucets, and a sink that resembles a stone trough. The bathroom walls are lined with stone. Old beams were used to build the staircase in the house.

His partner is fourteen years younger than him

Martina Pártlová is in a happy relationship with musician Josef Vařeka, who is fourteen years her junior. Neither of them is bothered by the age difference. They tease each other on the surface, but they come across as a well-matched couple. “He looks nice to me in the morning; I don’t care what he sees,” the singer remarked with a smile on Honza Dědek’s talk show *7 pádů*. Her partner on the show, in turn, mentioned how Martina is trying to stop aging. “She got talked into it and ordered an anti-wrinkle pillow from Poland. I haven’t noticed any change yet,” said Josef Vařeka.

A mutual friend of theirs, the musician Marcus Tran, brought them together. “She was desperate, I was desperate. And he said she needed a baby; I didn’t know I needed a baby. I asked Mára if I should buy flowers, so I bought flowers. Martina kicked me out that evening. So I didn’t succeed until the second time,” Vařeka recalled.

“He wanted to keep pestering me, but Marcus advised him not to contact me for three weeks. So he didn’t call. And that’s exactly why I eventually said, ‘Come here,’” Pártlová admitted. As Josef revealed with a smile, Martina was a great catch for him. “She had a house and a pool, and I was renting a place in Chodov,” he explained with a smile. In 2021, their daughter Stella was born.
